The Sand Hill Cranes came back in late November to the Whitewater Draw Nature Reserve. This only 5 miles from the Hofmann vineyards and Winery. This is an enjoyable view of these very large birds that winter here. Enjoy a great bottle of wine as you picnic.
We now have our 2016 Lemberger available. This is our first harvest of this wonderful grape and we have a very limited supply to offer. Do not confuse this with the famous cheese, but it goes very well with all sharp and tasty cheeses. We are one of the first Arizona Wine Vineyards to grow this grape which is very popular in Deutschland.

We now have great open area in our vineyard for Overnight Dry Camping with great morning and evening sky views here between the Mountains . Dragoons, Swissheims, Mules and Chiricahua Mountains here North of Bisbee, east of Tombstone, south of Gleeson and northwest of Douglas. The McNeal Wildlife Reserve is just a few minutes away and can be seen from our Tasting Room Patio area.
Our Blanc du Bois wine is now available. Come see how we make our wine form grape to fine wine aged in our cool rood in glass and stainless steel. Now bottling 2017 Reds We currently have 17 wines all made on site available

Vidal Blanc Label approved and bottling now. This grape is normally grown in colder climates, but we have been successful in growing it now in Arizona at our approximately 4500 ft. elevation. We have produced this wine as what we call Halb Trocken, half dry with somewhat sweetness. This wine goes well with both pork and fish dishes, as well with sharp cheese for what we like to call tea time in the late afternoon.
Our 2016 "EIN" is now available. Many of the tasters have rated this as one of our best yet when sampling on our free tours in the winery, but now some is bottled and available in the tasting room.

Our Wine grapes are grown on the high Arizona Desert near Bisbee and McNeal, Arizona. Our first planting was in late March 2013 and we now have began to make some wines from these. Great Northern European wines all made onsite in Stainless steel and Glass and aged with the finish Oak both clear and Toasted.

Our grapes are never mechanical pressed and 99.99% of all stem and other picking dropping removed before fermentation.

Videl Blanc and Seyval Blanc totally processed, vintnered on site at Hofmann Vineyards. These are Hybrid wine grapes and maybe the first to be actually grown in Arizona.
Cabernet Franc grown and Vintnered on site at Hofmann Vineyards. This wine was twice fermented to ensure a mild but full fruit flavor alone with French Oak wedges.
EIN – a fine red table wine mostly fermented from Carmenere grapes. This grape is one of the oldest European varieties dating back to Roman times. 2016 Now available.

The Vintner at Hofmann Vineyards is Charles Hofmann with assistance by Karen Hofmann co-owners.
We are located at the 15 mile marker on Davis Road at the north entrance to Tombstone Heritage Ranch on north High Lonesome Road. You must turn north toward the Dragoons about 1.6 miles. These are the first building you will encounter. Davis road intersect with Hiway 80 at mile marker 321 about 3 miles south of Tombstone and with Hiway 191 in McNeal.
Winter visitors with large camper, vans or buses can easily park in our cleared area as they enjoy tasting and free tours of our winery.
